Reseach intereses focus on computer simulations and numerical calculations in polymer physics and biophysics. The projects include: Self-assembly of block copolymers in solution, in bulk and in confined states; Phase transition of single macromolecular chain; Interactions between DNA and other organic molecules.The methods used are Dyanmical Density Functional Theory (DDFT); Self-Consistent Field Theory (SCFT); Monte Carlo Simulation (MC); Molecular Dynamic Simulation (MD). Currently, the conformation and transition of DNA, the assembly of DNA and Au nanoparticles, rational design of DNA machines are also carried out in experiments.
