YANG Jinlong Elected APS Fellow

YANG Jinlong, Head of School of Chemistry and Materials Science, was elected as a Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS), as APS announed in December.

APS fellowship is a distinct honor given after extensive review. Election to APS fellowship is limited to no more than one half of one percent of APS' s membership for a given year.

Prof. Yang was cited for "his original and outstanding contributions to single-molecule phenomena at surfaces, first-principles design of functional materials, and his efforts in promoting international scientific collaborations."
